Hi, my name is Becky Uptgrove. I am a registered Massage Therapist at the Guelph Healing Arts Center located at 115 Norfolk St. I have been a Massage Therapist for 3 years now and loving every minute of it.

My main focus is Deep Tissue Massage, but can help many conditions such as tension headaches, sciatica, sports injuries, chronic pain, tendonitis, muscle tension, and relaxation for stress.

I have lived in Guelph for almost 3 years now, and feel right at home here. Previously I lived in Brantford, ON while I went to school for Massage Therapy in Burlington, ON. The school was Canadian Therapeutic College , where I graduated with an Honours diploma in Massage Therapy and Hydrotherapy.

Before that I was a bit of a traveller. I lived in Berwick Nova Scotia working at a friend's quaint restaurant called Union Street Cafe. I fell in love with the charm of Nova Scotia and stayed for a year. And previous to that I lived in Lake Louise Alberta working at the beautiful Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in Human Resources. I lived out there for 5 years taking up such outdoor sports as snowboarding, hiking, and mountain biking. It was a really beautiful place to live for 5 years, and I miss the mountains everyday.

In November I took Craniosacral Therapy Level 1. I took this through the Upledger Institute in Toronto, ON. I am now trained in Level 1 Craniosacral Therapy, and I am excited to start using this technique.

My dream is to one day volunteer in Africa. I would like to work with an Organization and Massage Aids patients.
